Way back when I was a young man, There was a strong belief in the Big Bang Theory. The universe just started with a big bang. Way back when I was a youth as a Christian I didn’t believe that. I know that God created this world. The Bible tells us so.

As the years went by, scientist started realizing that everything they saw in the universe with their telescopes weren’t there at one time. The universe was constantly expanding. The big bang theory went out the window.

You cannot create nothing from nothing.

Think about it. If our earth was just little bit closer to the sun we would be dead. If was just a little bit further way we would be dead. God placed us at the perfect spot.

The moon is also at the perfect spot, as are all of the planets. Big Bang Theory. I know it isn’t so.

Cling to your faith. There will be many people trying you sway you into their thinking. Remember, the Bible is the book of truth. Use it as your only guide.

I Received Wonderful News From A Recent Doctor’s Appointment.

I have exciting news about my right hip. I was already in preop, and the next time I saw that doctor I would be on the operating table having surgery on my right hip.

Well, my primary doctor sent the orthopedic a note saying he wants me to try some pain management first.

I went to see the pain doctor and he gave me a startling request. He wanted me to cut back on my pain pills, and see what happens. I got home and decided to go all the way, and take no pain pills.

That was over a week ago and there is no pain. I mean none!

Now there could be two things that happened:

  1. The orthopedic doctor was just seeing dollar signs to get me to have an operation, and spend the money lavishly.
  2. God created a miracle. This is the one I think happened. I was in terrible pain, and knew I was going to have to have surgery. I fought going to a pain doctor. Thank God I did.
  3. The pain doctor found many other problems with my body as he inspected. So I am getting CT exams on several places on my body. (Getting older is not for sissies!

Got My Shots for COVID, and Still Got it.

I got COVID for the second time. I have had all my shots. I recall my first vaccination. It was about two years ago. When I got to the site for the shot, there was a tremendous line. I stood in the line waiting my turn.

The a National Guard soldier came up to me and told me to follow him. He took me to a spot where I was next in line. I was honored to be chosen to do that.

Probably because I had on my Army hat, and was using a cane.

Funny how people forget their duties. There is a tremendous need for civilians to enlist into the military. There are shortages in all branches. We all need to serve our country in some form, and I can tell you that the military changed my life in a most positive way. Think about stepping up.

Never forget hat God is with you 24/7. He will protect you from harm. All you have to do is ask.

COVID-19 Has Not Gone Yet. I Got it a Second Time.

Well, I got COVID-19 AGAIN! This time it wasn’t as bad. I was OK in about three days. I got it from my wife who had been working with several ladies for their nonprofit.

I am glad I got all the shots and boosters, Hard telling what would have happened if I didn’t.

I am amazed how many civilian people think the military gets too much funding. What if it was drastically cut? There wouldn’t be money for new weapons. The military wouldn’t get good pay.

I think is would very wrong, and probably have us lose a war.

Summer is really here. Up in the high 80’s all this week. In the nineties next week. Now we will hear people complain that it is too hot. This is after they complained about the rain and cold.

Be strong, and of good faith. God is always there for us. He will see us through the cold and the heat 24/7. Never give in to the darkside.

Going to the Oregon Coast today. I always enjoy going there my wife, even through it is for an appointment.

I will have to reflect while we are on our way. My wife is driving so I can day dream all I want

Lots to think about:

  1. Future surgery.
  2. Pain.
  3. My family.
  4. Where my country is going.
  5. Thankful to God for this day.

Thoughts:

A cry of despair over misfortune and suffering—something we all experience from time to time—is a valid form of prayer. We should never back away from pleading to God. He is there for us 24/7.

God can always be trusted. He never wavers, or decides you are not important.

Even in the worst of times, there was still hope to be found in God.

As we trot, crawl, climb, over the worries of life, we need to be Strong and persistence.

Never give up! God is there for you. Lean on Him.

How Can We Face the World The Way it is?

I am back at my desk trying to do my post today. I have to stop and walk around about every twenty minutes. (Good way to get those steps!)

Here are some current events that I found interesting:

  1. House GOP accuses President Biden of influence puddling.
  2. Russia forced into humiliating retreat ay Bakhmut.
  3. Guerilla arsonists just set fire to Russia’s supersonic bomber.

Thoughts…

  1. The republicans are going all out to find wrong doing from Joe Biden.
  2. This is wide spread in Ukraine right now. The Russian fighters are wanting to quit. They also have little ammunition, or body armor.
  3. I’d say the writing is on the wall for Putin. Everything around him is falling apart.

How can we face the world in the way it is going now? So much turmoil and strife.
One thing we always have to cling to is that God is in charge. He sees what is going on. No He is not happy, but He allows us to make choices. In the end you and I win.

Never let the darkside overcome you. Throw our the negative thoughts in your mind and fill it with positive thoughts.

Is that simple? It could be if your allow it. That is what I do every day.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I am having a hard time with my right hip. I am told I will need surgery soon. If it takes the pain away. Let’s do it!

Went down to California to see my granddaughter’s College graduation. It was a very special time, as my wife, daughter-in-law. My daughter, son-in-law, And another granddaughter were there. We all stayed in the same condo.

Sure brought back memories of when I graduated from college. That was many moons ago.

I was able to be placed in the handicapped area near the football field. There were a whole row of us. Got to meet new friends that day. All very good people.

We left Portland, Oregon with 43 degree temperature, and got to the college with 86 degree weather. Huge difference. I decided I may want to live there.

I heard that there was an actor that said he loved to play soldiers in the military. He said it made him feel patriotic. There are thousand of soldiers who go to the front and get shot at with real bullets. Some never came home. Now that is patriotic.

My son, who is a retired Colonel from the Army, has been diagnosed with a brain disorder of some kind. They are still testing him to see what it may be.

  2. Putin has gained many enemies. I am sure his days are numbered.
  3. How shameful to treat dogs like this man has.
  4. Can’t comprehend living to 128. I am have trouble with my current age.

Thoughts…

  1. God’s heart is the most sensitive and tender of all. No act goes unnoticed
  2. Blessed are they who tenderly seek to comfort others.
  3. Love is the true means by which the world is enjoyed.
  4. If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live those moments more richly.

Speaking about God…

  1. God has been very active in the world today. 5,000 people from India received Christ as their savior, and this is happening many places.
  2. Trying to make live in the world without God? How is that working for you?
  3. I am a blessed man. My wife and I are Christians, my three children are christians, and all my grandchildren are christians. God is good.
  4. Those who believe survive. Those who do not believe struggle mightily.

I had a wonderful weekend with my family. It was at the Oregon Coast. My fie Charlotte, my three children and their spouses, two grandchildren, and my children’s mother were there. Lots of talking and laughing. It was very refreshing, and needed.

  1. President Biden gave a report on the shooting down of several UFO’s. I was more confused after he got done.
  2. Russia thinks they are winning the war, but far from it. They have lost over 140,000 soldiers, (So far)
  3. The Southern Border has become a disaster area. Thousand of illegal immigrants crossing the border every day. Four border guards have committed suicide.

Daily rants…

1.Why does it take so long to shoot down a Chinese balloon. The balloon went all the way across our country and close to many military bases. What is wrong with this picture?

2. President Biden is trying to tell us that inflation is slowing down. Check your grocery bill. Eggs are up 74%. Many other items are as well.

3. There is just way too much crime in our country. The DA’s are getting very leinute with the criminals. They get arrested and are out the same day.

Important thoughts…

  1. A loser sees a problem for every answer.
  2. A winner sees a green by every sand trap.
  3. A loser see two or three sand traps near every green.
  4. The winner always has a program.
  5. A loser always has an excuse.
