A friend saw the title of this post on a T-shirt. I think I want one.

My Pastor started a new series this Sunday called, the end times. I thought, this could depressing. I was totally wrong.

The end times will end up being a wonderful time if you are a Christian. Think on this:

Everyone who believes will be pulled up into heaven all at once during the rapture. There will be no pain or agony during this moment.

Grace came to you through Jesus dying on the cross. It will come again during the rapture.

____________________________________________________________________________________

If you are not sure if you will be sent during the rapture, do the following:

  1. Repent. Ask God to forgive you.
  2. Return to fellowship at your church, there is so much support for you there.
  3. Remember…no matter how old you are, God is not through with you yet.

___________________________________________________________________________________

Jesus came in as the lamb and he will come back as a lion.

___________________________________________________________________________________

Never think you are beyond being accepted during the rapture. God loves you as you are. Just confess your sins and enjoy the ride.

___________________________________________________________________________________

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

It is time to whine again. I bet you love it. LOL

I got the COVID-19 virus on July3rd. I battled with it, and came out of it OK, But then I was hit with Post COVID-19! I am still feeling the affects of that today. All the symptoms are gone except for the severe exhaustion, and weakness.

I get up in the morning feeling somewhat good, and by the afternoon I am wiped out.

There have been some serious happenings because of the virus. I seemed to have lost hearing out of my left ear. I went to a ENT, and he said that I did. He said the virus caused it. He also thinks that maybe he can get my hearing back with treatment. We will see there.

Then I had some blood tests and my iron count was out of sight. The normal high is 306. My blood test showed 766. That’s more than double the highest allowed. I see my primary doctor in an hour to see what we can do for that.

Have you had some serious health issues attack you? Do you wonder why you are getting so many ailments? I certainly hear you.

____________________________________________

We all have to understand that we are not alone. God is with us every step of the way. He cares for us and He is just a prayer away. We need to ask for His protection, and to give us hope.

We shouldn’t give into the the darkside. Look for the light of Jesus, and give all your worries over to Him.

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

It has been quite a ride for me the last four weeks. I got COVID on July 3rd, and now I am just at the tail end of Post COVID.

I am down to battling severe fatigue. I get up in the morning and feel pretty good, but by noon, I am exhausted. I see my primary doctor on Friday.

______________________________________________

I am repeating a section of a previous post to remind me to stay the course with God.

Remembering God

  1. The way to remember is to keep God’s ways.
  2. The way to remember is to walk on God’s paths.
  3. The way to remember is by not giving any opportunities to forget.
  4. The most important way to remember is by humble surrender.

Humility isn’t thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.

C. S. Lewis

I sometimes take God for granted. I know He is there, and I don’t need to bother Him of my needs. That is just the opposite of what God wants. He want us to talk to Him every day.

I now talk to Him every day. I thank Him for his love. I thank Him for His protection. I ask Him to protect my family, and give me ways to serve Him

Doing this every day lets me feel safe and loved.

__________________________________________

How is your world turning? Do you have days where you wish you could stay in bed and forget everything else? I have been there.

Always face the storms. Never let the darkside steer you away. God is always with you and will guide your paths. He loves you.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

I am having a bad hair day. I fell yesterday and the second day aches and pains are here visiting me. It was at my niece’s house and didn’t see that her living room was a step down to get into it. I hit my grand nephew’s stroller and landed directly on my right knee. It scraped up my knee, but today it is hurting on the inside of knee in the bones as well.

______________________________________________

Have you had some falls? Do you have aches and pains from everyday efforts? You certainly are not alone. For people my age, (82) falling is not an uncommon thing. I am now living with a cane.

______________________________________________

Do not let this drag you down like a huge magnate. We will always have aches and pains.

I could say, “Buck up and quite whining,” But I feel for you. Getting older is not for sissies.

______________________________________________

Here is my list to cling to during my aches and pains:

  1. Remember the pain that Jesus had to go through for us. Our pain is nothing compared to that.
  2. I use my ailments to reach out to others. It helps them, and makes me feel good.
  3. Never let the darkside control your thinking. It is easy to be depressed all the time if you let that happen.

______________________________________________

I know that if you cling to God’s promises the pain won’t feel as bad. He is there for you. He knows your aches and pains. Pray for His protection, and comfort. He listens.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

Yesterday was Mother’s Day and I had a house full of mothers and their children. It was a special day. We took many pictures. I didn’t get into any because I wasn’t a mother. 🙂

______________________________________________

Did you have a good Mothers’ Day? I took time to honor my mother who past away several years ago. It brought back many memories to my group.

Mothers are the backbone of any family. There are crucial to keeping things afloat.

_______________________________________________

If you are a mother, you are a special person. Never feel you do not matter. Be strong and know that you are loved by many.

If you are struggling with being a mother and wondering if you are important, know that God loves you. He created you in His won image and will see you through the storms of life.

Never let the darkside overcome you. Go to the light of Jesus.

Had a nice lunch with my neighbor across the street yesterday. He is new to the neighborhood, and I wanted to get to know him. I found out he was a Christian, and an author like me. We shared stories about our families, and I felt like I had found a new close friend.

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Do you know all your neighbors? Have to tried to get to know them? Yes, you have your own families to seek to see a lot, but what about your neighbors?

Here is what I have found that works in reaching out to neighbors:

  1. Take a real effort to get to know all your neighbors.
  2. Call them just to say hello.
  3. Email them often.
  4. And my favorite…meet them at the community mail box.

I can see the mail box out my window, and when I see someone getting their mail I haven’t talked to in a while I go out to talk to them. Easy Peasy. I hear back from some of them stating it is good to talk to me, and they look forward to getting their mail, because of it.

___________________________________________________________________________________

Start your own crusade to reach out to your neighbors. You will put a smile on their face, and you will feel good about it as well.

___________________________________________________________________________________

Are you struggling through your days? Do you feel you would want to stay in bed all day instead of getting up? Well, I have been there with you.

I look forward each day to be talking to God, and thanking Him for the new day He has given me. It gives me strength, and calmness.

Don’t let this unfriendly world pull you down like a huge magnet. Look to the light of Jesus, and walk away from the darkness.

You are never unloved.

It is hard to know who to trust anymore. The news media have tons of fake news. The people in congress seem to be lying all the time. Is there no hope, because of that?

_____________________________________________

Suicide rates are very high now, especially in the military. To let you know…we are dead without Jesus.

_____________________________________________

Now on to positive thoughts:

  1. The name of the Lord is a strong Tower. We can run into it and be safe.
  2. Our hope is anchored in the past. Jesus rose again.
  3. Our hope remains in the present. Jesus lives.
  4. Our hope is completed in the future. Jesus is coming again.

______________________________________________

We do not need to panic. If you are a Christian you are not part of this not so friendly world. Never let the darkside over come you with lies. Leave the darkness and go to the light of Jesus.

It actually snowed this morning in the middle of April here in Salem, Oregon! You never know…

Have you had surprises like snow in April? Has your world been moving too fast because of the surprises?

Things that happen could be you wrecked you car. You owe a lot to the IRS. A relationship has fallen apart. You lost you job.

There can be many more things that happen, so how do we handle all of this?

  1. All storms end.
  2. Tomorrow is a new day.
  3. Facing live with a positive attitude can overcome anything.
  4. Lean on God for comfort. He is in the Bible to comfort you.

_____________________________________________

I know..it is hard sometimes to accept what is happening, but we have to be strong, and not let the darkside overcome us. Satan would love for us to fall apart.

Lean on the strength of God, and face the storms.
