We got hit by a surprise snow storm that lasted three days. We were in lockdown. 7 inches of snow isn’t much,but there are far too many people who don’t know how to drive in snow.

I got a lot done around the house, so I wasn’t too upset. What did happen however, was that I couldn’t go anywhere, because my wife needed to drive my four wheel drive vehicle.

I had too much free time, so a I read. Best thing that could have happen to me. I love to read, and it was very soothing.

Have you had sudden storms in your life? Car broke down. Your child is sick. The end of your money came before before the end of the month. The pandemic has hit your friends and family.

What we all need to do is pray. Pray for God’s intervention. He knows our needs and all we have to do is ask. Why should we have to ask? I see it as God is our heavenly Father and wouldn’t you ask you earthly father for help if you needed it?Of course we would.

There will be storms ahead, and we need to be strong and face them with God’s help. Never give in to the darkside. Be strong.

I thought I would change things up a little bit. Today we are going to learn the definitions of many words in the Bible we may not know or understand.

  1. Amen: “this is true.”
  2. Apostle: Accredited messenger who has been sent in service of another.
  3. Grace: Mercy; clemency; pardon.
  4. Disciples: Followers of Christ.
  5. Bible: The collection of sacred writings of the Christian religion. comprising the Old and New Testaments.
  6. Advent: An Arrival that has been awaited.
  7. Antediluvian: Relating to the period before the Biblical flood.
  8. Atonement: The act of making amends for sin or wrong doing.
  9. Baptism: A sacrament signifying spiritual cleansing and rebirth.
  10. Betrothed: Pledged to be married.
  11. Brethren: The lay members of a male religious order.
  12. Cherub: An angel portrayed as a winged child.
  13. Epiphany: An inspiration of divine manifestation.
  14. Exodus: A journey by a group to escape from a hostile environment.
  15. Fallible: Wanting in moral strength or will.
  16. Forbearance: a delay in enforcing rights or claims or privileges
  17. Idolatry: The worship of objects or images as Gods.
  18. Messiah: Any expected deliverer.
  19. Omnipresent: Existing everywhere at once.
  20. Prodigal: reckless and wasteful.
  21. Prophecy: A prediction uttered under divine inspiration.
  22. Scapegoat: Someone who is punished for the errors of others.
  23. Tribulation: A annoying or frustrating or catastrophic event.
  24. Wrath: Intense anger.

Now that you have a headache from learning so much, How are you doing? Do you live each day with prayers to God? Are you distracted by all the turmoil around you?

Stay strong in the knowledge that God is there for you. He will listen to those prayers I mentioned above. He will answer them in His own way.

Do not give into the darkside who wants you to turn away from God. The dark side is Satan. He would love to have you up on his trophy wall.

The Darkness Seems to be Growing in Our World

Some thoughts I have been having the last few days:

  1. Bad thoughts lead to things you wish you hadn’t done.
  2. Everyone needs compassion.

Thoughts about God and Jesus:

  1. You are my hiding place.
  2. I am strong in your love.
  3. He was and is to be.
  4. He is the author of salvation.
  5. The freedom we have in Christ will never fade away.
  6. My God is the God that provides.
  7. Anchor your life with His word.
  8. Look forward to the future God is bringing us. `

Some people act good on the outside, but have nothing on the inside. There are far too many people like that. People need to be transparent, and share their true selves.

There seems to be a spreading darkness covering our world. The darkside is having too many victories. I feel it, and want to face it like all Christians should. We need to put on our heavenly armor and fight back.

God will be there with us, and give us strength and courage.

You don’t Need to Lose the Battle With Satan

I have been having many questions growing in my brain lately. I tried to find some answers.

Satan is working full time trying to convince you that God isn’t important. He would love it if you believed his lies.

I looked in the Bible for answers to him:

  1. The Lord is my safety, security, and protection.
  2. He will hear your voice, and your prayers will reach his ears.
  3. God is for me not against me, like Satan is.
  4. God shows up when you need him.
  5. He is my stronghold in time of trouble.
  6. He rescued me. He is rescuing me. He will rescue me.
  7. God’s way is perfect.

With all that on my side of the line who can be against me. NO ONE!!

Have you been having a battle with Satan? Do you feel you are losing the fight against him?

Never let the darkside overcome you! Fight back with God by your side.

Be strong! Be faithful. Persevere.

The World Can be Overwhelming if we Let it.

I had my first appointment for therapy today. I am going there to try to get my balance back, and give me more strength.

It was grueling. The first day they test you to see what your baseline is. I did a fast as I cloud walk. Getting up and sitting down as many times as I could in two minutes! (No helping hands.) I then had to stand for 2 minutes. Then with my eyes closed. I failed that big time.

I then had to raise one leg after I stood. I failed that on both feet.

The last test was a machine that tests your arm and leg strength. It was for only tow minutes, but it seemed like an hour.

I came home exhausted..

I have gone therapy three times, and each time he helps me tremendously to get back my strength and agility.

Have you has days when you thought it was just too overwhelming? Did you feel exhausted way to early in the day?

Stress and fear, can wear the best of people down. It drags us down like a huge magnet.

We allow this to happen. If you thought of only positive things the stress and fear would go away.

___________________________________________

Another approach is to give all your stress and fear to God. He has shoulders. He loves you and will protect you whenever you need Him.

Don’t let this, not so friendly, world get you down. Leave the dark side and look for the light of Jesus.

Don’t Think Life is Without Hope. God is There

It is a beautiful day outside. No clouds and a high of 65 coming.

With that happening I should be feeling good and happy and I am. Not that I’m feeling perfect. It is because God has given me another day.

Now that I have brightened your day, let me get some bed feelings out of my head.

President Biden has announced his new gun laws program. It will cut many patriots hearts out. He wants to get rid of many types of guns, and tighten the rules. We will see how the public accepts that.

This reminds me of something a friend told me. He mentioned that he felt that life was without hope.

I told him that God uses some of our darkest moments as our doorway to hope. I also told him to listen to God. If He talks to you there is have hope.

I am going to update you again about my upcoming book, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of Life.

I cleaned up my veteran interviews and I am pretty excited of how they turned out. I have four WWII veteran interviews that are breathtaking. Every one of them were near death experiences.

I am adding a second appendix. It will list all the good military books that are out there. I have read many of them, and they are outstanding and truthful.
