Despair is not the end of the story in our lives. It is simply the occasion when our spiritual senses are awakened to behold new, life-giving dimensions of God’s presence. In Jesus’s words, “Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.”

That seems hard to believe! You are comforted when you mourn?

Life is fragile and all too brief. According to the Psalmist, our lifetimes are a “mere breath.” We may perhaps live into our seventies or eighties “by reason of strength,” but our experience is generally full of “toil and trouble” (Ps. 39:5; Ps. 90:10). Sometimes life leaves you weeping in the dark.

Then I imagined God saying: Keep pedaling, son, despite your fears. I know all the bumps in the road, and, although you falter and even wipe out, my grace encircles you to the end.

We have all faced times that we had to mourn. It is not a pleasant time.

The above message is telling us that God is saying “Keep pedaling.” Keep on keeping on.

God is with you 24/7. Even when we mourn. Pray to Him for strength through the tough times.

I Believe in Miracles, Because One Happened to Me.

I want to share with you a miracle that happened to me.

I had severe pain on my right hip. I couldn’t walk. The pain pills weren’t working very well.

I went to a orthopedic doctor, and he said I needed surgery. I needed a hip replacement.

I had a preop appointment with him. The next time I saw him, I was going to be on the operating table.

My primary doctor, told the surgeon that he wanted me to see another doctor first.

That doctor was a pain management doctor. I met with him, and he said something that put me in shock. He wanted me to cut back on my pain pills!

I went home and decided that I was going to stop all pains pills to see what happens. The next morning I got up, and there was no pain in my hip!! That was three weeks ago, and I haven’t had any pain what’s so ever.

Was this a miracle or was the orthopedic doctor just wanting to make some money?

I decided it was a miracle! God had touched me and set me free of the pain. There is no other way to explain it. From severe pain to no pain. That is hard to explain, except a miracle.

Just to let you know…you may have physical battles, but your spiritual battles are even tougher.

  1. Break the unbreakable.
  2. Move the unmovable.
  3. From the impossible, we will have a miracle.

I Received Wonderful News From A Recent Doctor’s Appointment.

I have exciting news about my right hip. I was already in preop, and the next time I saw that doctor I would be on the operating table having surgery on my right hip.

Well, my primary doctor sent the orthopedic a note saying he wants me to try some pain management first.

I went to see the pain doctor and he gave me a startling request. He wanted me to cut back on my pain pills, and see what happens. I got home and decided to go all the way, and take no pain pills.

That was over a week ago and there is no pain. I mean none!

Now there could be two things that happened:

  1. The orthopedic doctor was just seeing dollar signs to get me to have an operation, and spend the money lavishly.
  2. God created a miracle. This is the one I think happened. I was in terrible pain, and knew I was going to have to have surgery. I fought going to a pain doctor. Thank God I did.
  3. The pain doctor found many other problems with my body as he inspected. So I am getting CT exams on several places on my body. (Getting older is not for sissies!

Got My Shots for COVID, and Still Got it.

I got COVID for the second time. I have had all my shots. I recall my first vaccination. It was about two years ago. When I got to the site for the shot, there was a tremendous line. I stood in the line waiting my turn.

The a National Guard soldier came up to me and told me to follow him. He took me to a spot where I was next in line. I was honored to be chosen to do that.

Probably because I had on my Army hat, and was using a cane.

Funny how people forget their duties. There is a tremendous need for civilians to enlist into the military. There are shortages in all branches. We all need to serve our country in some form, and I can tell you that the military changed my life in a most positive way. Think about stepping up.

Never forget hat God is with you 24/7. He will protect you from harm. All you have to do is ask.

COVID-19 Has Not Gone Yet. I Got it a Second Time.

Well, I got COVID-19 AGAIN! This time it wasn’t as bad. I was OK in about three days. I got it from my wife who had been working with several ladies for their nonprofit.

I am glad I got all the shots and boosters, Hard telling what would have happened if I didn’t.

I am amazed how many civilian people think the military gets too much funding. What if it was drastically cut? There wouldn’t be money for new weapons. The military wouldn’t get good pay.

I think is would very wrong, and probably have us lose a war.

Summer is really here. Up in the high 80’s all this week. In the nineties next week. Now we will hear people complain that it is too hot. This is after they complained about the rain and cold.

Be strong, and of good faith. God is always there for us. He will see us through the cold and the heat 24/7. Never give in to the darkside.

Got some bad news this morning. My beautiful wife has COVID. She is not well. Prayers would be appreciated.

Been following the war in Ukraine Is Putin deranged? YES! He is fighting a losing war. He has been defeated in several areas of Ukraine, and yet he still is letting Russian men die.

He needs to disappear. Any way we make that happen would be fine.

The counteroffensive is going well. Time for Putin to grow up and negotiate.

I have come up with a new plan for my bad hip. My primary doctor referred me to a pain maintenance clinic. If they can somehow help me with the pain, I will pass on the surgery. I will keep you posted.

Have you been struggling with an affliction. I feel our pain. It is easy to ask WHY ME!! God has allowed your pain, and you are not sure if you like at all.

Cry out to God to give you peace and relieve the pain. He listens to you even when you are angry. I am using my affliction to reach out to others who are suffering.

Maybe you should try doing the same.

Going to the Oregon Coast today. I always enjoy going there my wife, even through it is for an appointment.

I will have to reflect while we are on our way. My wife is driving so I can day dream all I want

Lots to think about:

  1. Future surgery.
  2. Pain.
  3. My family.
  4. Where my country is going.
  5. Thankful to God for this day.

Thoughts:

A cry of despair over misfortune and suffering—something we all experience from time to time—is a valid form of prayer. We should never back away from pleading to God. He is there for us 24/7.

God can always be trusted. He never wavers, or decides you are not important.

Even in the worst of times, there was still hope to be found in God.

As we trot, crawl, climb, over the worries of life, we need to be Strong and persistence.

Never give up! God is there for you. Lean on Him.

How Can We Face the World The Way it is?

I am back at my desk trying to do my post today. I have to stop and walk around about every twenty minutes. (Good way to get those steps!)

Here are some current events that I found interesting:

  1. House GOP accuses President Biden of influence puddling.
  2. Russia forced into humiliating retreat ay Bakhmut.
  3. Guerilla arsonists just set fire to Russia’s supersonic bomber.

Thoughts…

  1. The republicans are going all out to find wrong doing from Joe Biden.
  2. This is wide spread in Ukraine right now. The Russian fighters are wanting to quit. They also have little ammunition, or body armor.
  3. I’d say the writing is on the wall for Putin. Everything around him is falling apart.

How can we face the world in the way it is going now? So much turmoil and strife.
One thing we always have to cling to is that God is in charge. He sees what is going on. No He is not happy, but He allows us to make choices. In the end you and I win.

Never let the darkside overcome you. Throw our the negative thoughts in your mind and fill it with positive thoughts.

Is that simple? It could be if your allow it. That is what I do every day.

What is really true? How can we prove something is true?

People for centuries tried to convince others that Jesus never existed.How could someone do what others claimed he could do?

True faith is that we believe in something we can not see.

Some people think that true faith can not happen without facts.

  1. In Israel there have been archeological diggings that brought the truth to us. They found what they think the cave where Jesus was buried.
  2. They found proof that Pontius Pilate was real by finding papers, and pieces of things that his name all over it.

True facts takes us beyond mere facts to trust.

The Bible is the book with all the truth. There is proof that all of the disciples existed. They wrote what they saw, and all of the books of the disciples say the same things, but in different ways of saying it.

I believe that God sent His only son down to earth to die for us. If we believe this we have eternal life.

  1. Zelensky’s voice strains with emotion over “Russian beasts,” who beheaded Ukrainian pow.
  2. Ukraine Army eliminates 1,040 Russian soldiers over the last weekend.
  3. Woman performed a C-Section on herself. Both she and the child survived.

Comments…

This just proves that Putin is doing war crimes. Ukraine continues to overpower Russia.

This woman is a very brave woman. Her baby is alive because of her quick thinking.

Our world seems to be heading towards destruction. Wars, Millions crossing our southern borders, high crime, and many other horrific events.

We need to turn to God, and ask for His intervention. Pray that He will protect those who can’t defend themselves.
